First of all, harus di katakan bahawa post kali ini ada banyaaaak gambar yang beresolusi boleh tahan besar haha!
So last weekend, my friends and I had a sweet escape right to the kingdom of unexpected treasures; Brunei Darussalam. We didn't really plan for it. It's kind of gamble thing but yeah. Haha
Alhamdulillah the journey went well, I guess and believe that it was because of the presence of our Bruneian friends from Uni Brunei Darussalam. (Thanks to UiSF sbb bagi kami new friends) We arrived there somewhere around 9 am on Friday and right after that we were brought to the town to find a place of stay by Shawal. We decided to stay at Terrace Hotel but we chose Pusat Belia right in the middle of Bandar Seri Begawan due to the fact that it's cheap ($10/night) and it was comfortable enough. Haha. Since it was a Friday and Friday prayer starts at 12 in Brunei, Reen and I decided to pray in the famous Masjid Sultan Omar Ali Saifudin. Yes, the famous golden mosque. One thing about Brunei is that the buildings are super duper beautiful especially their mosques. And setiap kali diorang bawa kitorang melintas bangunan je mesti deep in my heart akan terkata "waaaaahhhh lawa".

Next we went to have lunch some where in Yayasan (I forgot the full name of the Yayasan), also by Safwan and Shawal. Oh nah, introducing Safwan and Shawal :
Pastu,we went to the malls kononnya window-shopping lol before we set our feet in the local restaurant for ambuyat. Haha. Makan ambuyat tu sangat unik ya. Tau tak dulu moms used to make/cook sago glue for their children due to the fact that the shops had closed and stuff tu? Ha tu lah ambuyat sebenarnya. You don't have to chew it. Cuma cicah dan telan. Haha. However, the dishes were awesome posem.
Since malam tu hujan, we didn't get the chance to have a visit at Jerudong, so, Haziqah, Budiman, Shawal and Janey brought us to Empire Hotel, the super exclusive hotel and yes the place was super duper elegant and cantik even the toilets are nice.
Okay itu baru day one. The next day we went to Tamu Kianggeh, a kind of pasar pagi. We couldn't find breakfast there since we were late, so we walked to the town when we decided to go have a boat trip to Kg Ayer. Pakcik tu., his name is Pakcik Aji and he is a really kind man. He charged us $2.50/person and he brought us all the way to Kg Ayer. Setiap pelosok tulah dia bawak. Cari buaya, lihat istana Sultan and shockingly he even treated us lunch. Haha.. Lucky us.
Pastu we were brought by another friends Chan and Mizah to Brunei's International Convention Centre and Muzium Brunei. And at night, we went to Malul's house for some dinner with the futsal team. Bonda Malul masak sedap gila, rumah Malul pun cantik juga. And tertonton match Man U vs Arsenal. Too bad Arsenal kalah hahahaha.
And on Sunday morning, Duan brought us to Universiti Brunei Darussalam! Yeay. I like the environment of the university since they have a lot of trees, and the buildings are nice too. They had an event called the Convo Run on that day but too bad we didn't have the chance to join it since we arrived there after the program has ended. But the good thing is that we get to meet more friends! Dapat jumpa Cikgu Ali and friends from rugby team juga. Kitorang di bawa pusing pusing sekitar UBD berjalan kaki oleh Naqi dan Duan. HAHAHA ada tour guides.
Pastu singgah kejap ke Gadong sebab makcik Fana dan Reen tak habis lagi membeli souvenir and last sekali, kami ke airport somewhere around 2 sebab flight jam 425 pm. Again, kami diiringi oleh these beautiful people of Brunei from the futsal team UBD sebelum balik menaiki pesawat ini :
Balik Shah Alam, batuk batuk. Brunei has got me real souvenir this time. Naah, just joking. Haha.
